separating a data base into two

Post by Jacesoo » Sat Dec 17, 2016 5:06 am

My data base for a particular family tree has mushroomed out of control and I really need to split it into two, i.e. taking various less essential members of the tree and starting them off in another 'tree'. Is there an easy, smooth, economical way of doing this?

Many thanks
Jan

Hi Jan

The topic on this link should help with splitting your family tree.

Many thanks for this link, Nigel. I'll give it a go tomorrow and see how I make out.
