I am at a loss, I can't print any CSV reports. When I generate any CSV report I get error message, like this one:
unable to print file
/users/my name/ifamilyData/Reports/Dot Genealogy_DuplicatePeople_1.csv
with application Microsoft Excel
How do I change this application? I have looked everywhere I can think of?
Can you help me find it???

Since you know the path to your file, how about simply trying to open up Excel and then opening this file (either by double-clicking or using the File menu). This should work, I believe.

Hi Dot,
I assume you mean that you do not have Excel leading to this error.
When you generate the report it uses the default application to open the .csv file type which is set in Finder.
I am not sure why it is set as excel if you do not have the application but it can be changed in the following way.
Go to the location specified for the file (basically it is the Reports folder in the iFamilyData folder) and select the .csv file.
RIght click on the file name and select 'Get Info'.
This list box will include an 'Open with' selection drop down.
Click on this and select an app to open the CSV file (Numbers, TextEdit etc) and click on the 'Change All' button.
You can then open the report by double clicking it and it should open in your selected application when you next run the report.
Hope that works for you.
Nigel

Thanks Nigel
It worked just fine, I thought I had looked everywhere but that was not one of the places. Now I know.
I thank you very much.
