Relationships Calculator

Post by Frances144 » Sun Nov 06, 2016 10:43 am

Hello

I am running Version 2.9.4 on Mac OS 10.12.1 (Sierra).

It works fine except I cannot use the relationship calculator in the Search mode - it does work if you scroll down and find the person, however.

Please help.

(btw, this could all be my fault and I am not using it properly)

Hi,

Not too sure how you expect it to work but for me the method is:

Select the person you want to find the relationship to as the Focal person.

Select the Relationship Calculator from the People menu.

You then find the person you want to calculate the relationship to the Focal Person from the list - You can scroll down the complete list or enter a family name in the search box to reduce the number of entries.

The relationship is then calculated and displayed.

I hope that helps as it sounds as if you are using it correctly but expect something else.

Regards,

Nigel
