Download v2.440 ??

Hi Bob

It should be trying to open iFamilyForLeopardV2.440.dmg and to create " iFamily For Leopard.app" in your Applications folder

This is the second report (out of 100 downloads of V2.440) that has failed to do the right thing.

If Safari is your default browser then the Disk Image (DMG) file should automatically open and start the Installation process, but not if FireFox is your default browser.

1. Please download again (preferably with Safari as your default browser).

2. If the DMG file fails to open then Right Click on the DMG file and select Open With - DiskImageMounter.app.

If Stuffit Expander 12 appears in your Open With menu for a DMG file then you MUST deactivate it as an app to open a DMG file - it does not know how to handle a DMG file and will cause you a lot of trouble.

Let me know if the problem occurs again.

Do you have Stuffit Expander Version 12+ on your Mac?

The cut down version of Stuffit that comes with OSX is V7.0.3
