Re: Help with cropping
However, the problem also occurs with my external 24 inch monitor. I can get the desired image in the thumbnail display if I position the crop box "blue box" such that the desired image is in the bottom left quarter of the box.

Re: Help with cropping
Yes, I am using a MacBook Pro, Retina, 15-inch, late 2013. As I recall the problem started when I first started using this Mac. I thought it was associated with the new operating system....10.9. Your explanation makes perfect sense to me. Larry

I am having difficulty cropping images. It used to work fine. When I hold down the left mouse button and drag, the cropped area (in blue box) is not the image that appears in the thumbnail photo in the left panel. I have version 2.892 and OSX 10.9.5 (13F34). My wife's cropping function works fine. S...

creating CVS filtered place names report
When I generate a CVS Filtered Place Name Report, the report is created horizontally in one row. All the information is in one huge row. There must be a way to generate the report in columns and rows. Can anyone explain how to do this. Thank you, Larry

Dragging photo from website
A JPG photo dragged from a website is converted to a TIFF file in iFamily. If I drag a JPG to an open finder window or mail and then drag it to iFamily, it stays a JPG file. Is there a preference setting I have missed to keep the JPG file extension when dragging from a Website to iFamily? I have jus...

Two marriages between same couple
How do I add the second marriage between the same couple?
My grandmother married Husband A and they were divorced.
She married Husband B and they were divorced.
She married Husband B again and they were divorced.
Do I need to create an allias for Husband B; e.g. Husband B1?
Thanks, Larry
