Would it suffice to use the "Associated Person" for the mistress? I'm sure it's not as descriptive as you would like, but it allows the connection without affecting other relationships.

Have you tried the "Delete all Comments Lines that Contain the Filter String"? I haven't used it, but it seems to describe what you want to do. It's under "People -> Comments..." and at the bottom of the dialog box.

That will work. On a somewhat related note, It would be helpful to either duplicate a source or copy to an existing source to a new source. For example, a death index to a different death index, or census source record.

Italics in fields
My specific need is to break away from the built-in source format and add freeform source information; in doing so I would like to italicize certain words (titles) when appropriate. When I tried to change the font, it changed the entire field. Am I missing something? My limited knowledge of database...

Are there any plans to allow photos for an event in addition to people and sources? It seems like, for example, a wedding photo should be attached to the Marriage Event instead of to both individuals separately.
