Re: Chronology not Timeline
Hello, Warwick - My apologies for the delay in responding to you. I followed your generous instructions and actually produced a chronology containing nearly everyone and every event in the DB! :D There are a few quirky things in the output, so I'm matching chronology data elements to iFamily fields ...

Re: "Wife of" addition ever solved?
Thanks, Nigel - Found the Search box and produced "wife of" and "husband of" lists, but I'm not able to do anything with them. I can't find a command that allows me to delete them individually or in a group from the list. I can delete the "of's" individually, of course, but it's a multi-step process...

Re: "Wife of" addition ever solved?
Hi, Nigel - Thanks for responding and the suggestions. I'll look into modifying my GEDCOM (yes, this was an import), but I'd like to manage the DB within iFamily. I'll likely be importing and exporting a number of GEDCOMs. In the spirit of continuing to exhibit my ignorance - where are the search fu...

I now have a DB with lots of "wife of" that have screwed up my numbering system. This is probably a deal killer because that numbering system is the basis ...

Re: Chronology not Timeline
Thanks for responding, Nigel. I guess including the list info would have been useful. Events/Event Dates It's the output from that I want to capture. People/Index is a decent fall back, but the included events are limited and data columns cannot be added. There is one real strength in the Peo...

Chronology not Timeline
I'm new to iFamily after decades of using Legacy. I really like iFamily's approach, though I miss some of Legacy's functionality. No doubt I'll get over that. :D I've tested tons of genealogy apps, both Mac and Windows based, looking for one simple function: the ability to generate a chronology that...
