Re: Personal Notes
Nigel,
I generated that file on Sep 16, 2017
And upgraded to 2.9.6 on Oct 11, 2017
I haven't tried to create that csv file yet. Maybe I'll try it.

Re: Personal Notes
Nigel,
A followup
The alphabetical listing is by first name.
It looks like everyone in my tree, which has a note attached, is included.

Gedcom and the ADOP Tag
I have been experimenting with Gedcom output from iFamily. I have used trees which have adoption connections and stepparent connections. On output, the adoption connection is not created. I have edited the .GED file, putting in the necessary ADOP tags and used that updated file as input to iFamily. ...

Thanks Nigel for your input. I have it the other way around but I think I will take your suggestion and put my birth name.

Adding a Picture
iFamily for Mac V2.9.3 on a retina display iMac
The add picture function doesn't work. The work area on the left shows a cropped picture. It can't be changed and is what is used. The picture in /pictures is OK.
Also, the window points to iPhoto. It needs to also point to PHOTOS.

Re: Generating Descendants Report
The new Pages 5.0 indeed does not handle RTFD files. If you didn't delete the old Pages, it is still on your machine. I just right clicked on an RTFD file and opened with Pages. The old Pages opened the file OK. Hope this helps.

Legal Name Change
Is there a way to show a legal name change? This is not an adoption, just a name change which effects offsprings names.
Thank you
