Re: HTML Pictures too big
My fix is as follows: I installed iFamily for Mac on a non-retina iMac using Yosemite and moved my database through a home-share. Working on my Retina iMac I run iFamily and generate my HTML on the non-retina machine. Once it's saved I transfer the Reports Directory back to my Retina iMac and from t...

Re:
The problem lies with retina screens. When iFamily queries the image it replies that it is twice the size it actually it, I need to replace with with a more appropriate method. You will find that the links are indeed working, but they are all in the bottom quarter of the image at the pixels where t...

I need to go back to a version of iFamily that works and I'm confused. Which one will work with Yosemite and allow me to generate my HTML?

Re: OS 10.10 Yosemite
I copied the whole lot, data and application package and installed it on a Mavericks machine I still have.
It works fine, only having to re-register is a bit of a pain as I had no mail on that machine.

Re: problems generating html
I can't offer any help but I can confirm the problem although I believe spouse, self, and offspring were displayed. I have always used the table-form on my website with its 8000 pages so that it would load quickly for those on a slow connection. Unfortunately I have now had to revert to the jpeg-im...

Re: problems generating html
From the lack of response I conclude that I must have been the only person using iFamily who has been generating html in table-format. It's almost definitely a bug in the program in combination with Mountain Lion.fredlk wrote:Can anybody help?

problems generating html
I have recently upgraded to Mountain Lion. Everytime previously my html tables showed 4 generations of ancestors in the table. I'm doing everything the same as I have for years but now only self and spouse show up while the ancestor tables are empty. Can anybody help?

I don't understand how my hosting service particulars could solve the problem of multiple directories. If you can, please explain.

Re: RE: html generation
Thanks for the tips... but I think you're losing me.
I'm no techno-geek and so I am quite happy with having it all in one programme. And as far as I am aware, my hosting is not MySQL.

html generation
As much as I love iFamily, one thing really irritates me and makes for a lot of extra work every time I add (or delete) family members. My database contains approximately 8,000 individuals and when, after an update every other week or so, I generate the html for my website, it creates 15 html-sub-fo...

Photo size on website
I have my test website up and running and the only thing I find a little disappointing is that the photo's are a bit small. Is there any way I could increase their size?
Thanks.
Thanks.
