Big Bug - attaching folk to others?
This is the first time I have tried to do this as I recall so it may just be me being stupid. I have disconnected a couple of relationships that were wrong and want to reconnect the parties to other people who are not visible in the diagram (but are in the data) and thus I can't drag them to connec...

Ordinarily, users are prompted to supply the admin password when installing any new software application on a Mac. Why am I not prompted for the password when installing iFamily for Tiger? Asking for an admin password is an option in the installer package. It can be turned on if you prefer but pers...

Hi Greg,
We are currently working on a more elaborate Compare and Merge, however, we must be careful that people cannot get into too much trouble.
Maybe Annie can explain how she's managed to do some substantial merges using what is already available in iFamily for Tiger.

include the option to insert the subject's dafault image placed atop the " individual" report.
Thank you Douglas - done in V1.205. In the reports for Selected Person, Ancestors and Descendants the user may opt to include the default pictures for each person + their spouse.

Thanks Douglas,
It currently only works if you quit by closing the main window with the red close button in the top LH corner of the main window frame. Have amended the code to also save the frame size when you use Control Q or if you quit using the menu option Quit iFamily For Tiger.

Hi Chris,
The Notes and Comments fields are plain text rather than Rich Text because Gedcom 5.5 does not handle RTF data for transfers of these fields.
However the database already has fields set up so that Rich Text can be stored and displayed at a later date.

Hi Douglas
You can use before (bef), about (abt, c, circa) and after (aft) but not " between" dates in iFamily for Tiger.
For between dates I suggest that you average them and enter an about date.
