Hi Bee, Thank you for your post. When you drag an image or document into iFamily, a full size copy of each is created in the /iFamilyData/Pictures/ folder by default. iFamily pictures and documents are also stored as small thumbnail files within the iFamily database itself but should not overly impa...

The Associated person is broken only insofar as it is not writing and reading to and from the Gedcom Import and exports. This is on my list for the next release. The close button appears to proceed to adding whichever person is highlighted, it would be useful to also have a cancel button on this dia...

Hi Paul, There is no built in flagging in iFamily to enable exclusion of tree branches when generating reports and Gedcoms. The easiest way to achieve what you want to do here is to make a copy of your database, delete the people that you wish to exclude, then export your Gedcom from that copy. To c...

I have fixed this problem but am yet to release it. The problem occurs in the post load database integrity check, you will find that your files have loaded sucessfully into your iFamily data folder once you force quit and reopen iFamily (no harm, just inconvenience). I have had to transfer the works...

Hi Charlie, iFamily stores the geocoded coordinates to six decimals so I should be able to get you an accuracy down to 10meters or so, including the span information. Here is a typical geocoded string from iFamily: maps.google.com/maphp?hl=en&q=Darwin,+NT&ie=UTF8& ll=-12.454596,130.833714 &spn=0.001...

It does appear unconnected people is causing a problem, it is probably the same module being called in both the Data Inconsistency Report and the Gedcom Load and hopefully an easy fix. The new "Associated People" are not yet exported or imported from the Gedcoms. They do appear as unconnected (when ...
