You are able to click on the preferences button on the toolbar and choose "Birth and Death Info" as shown below.

You can also change this setting by using a scroll wheel over the focal person, provided you have one on your mouse.

Without the names in the filenames it makes it more difficult for users to search through their output HTML files and locate a particular identity if they wish to edit the information. The pages have greater utility if they are navigable in Finder is all.
