Hi Mike,

Thats not the usual or deisrable behaviour for Gedcom Export. Which OSX do you have installed?

Email me your FtkSql database from your iFamilyData folder and I will try it in debug mode at my end to identify the problem.

Putting the files in the documents folder is the Apple way to do things, the user home directory is the wrong place. Placing it there will also make it easier to sync with iCloud. Command + Z (UNDO) will work - The cached undo list will last until you close your database and will undo most operations. (Let us know if you find one it doesn`t)

An option in the meantime may be to export your search results as a csv, order them by the surname column, then delete the rows containing SMITH.
