Re: Import Geocom file from iHeritage

The greying out is simply a filter for the filenames that end in the extension *.GED, (or possibly *.ged). Can you let us know what your file name is? Perhaps you need to rename it? I encountered a MyHeritage file recently that had an unknown encoding stamp at the start which was preventing import. ...

David, The filename will be shown at the top of the export gedcom dialog as shown in the red box on the attachment below. Clicking the "Show Me" button at the end of the process will open the file for you, form where you can save it somewhere else if you wish. Warwick. iFamily_Generate_Gedcom.png

I think it's a right click on one of the people and select "Disconnect...", I can check further tonight. Keep in mind that the relationship calculator only shows the quickest path between the two, there may be a second connection once you remove the first. Once you get one parent connected properly,...

Re: Can't connect existing people-Recursion Error

Have you tried using the relationship calculator to discern the current connection between the two identities?

If you find a connection which is in error you will need to sever it before forming the parent-child connection you require.

Found it, looks like you can't simply cast a float as an int in Yosemite with iFamily for Mac. The row height is being managed by iFamily and there is no way for the user to change this, it will be repaired in the next release.

I did have a customer point out that the images for his webpages were coming out at double size, (not yet fixed, sorry Bob). Until I limit the panel to the window properly, COMMAND+W keys is the keyboard shortcut to close every dialog. (standard Mac behaviour, this will work in other programs too.).
