iFamily for Mac V2.9.3 - 22 Oct 2015

Post by Warwick Wilson » Wed Oct 21, 2015 10:33 pm

Change Log:-

General changes
- Repaired behaviour related to OSX El Capitan - saved states issue unidentified in initial testing.
Apple had used a backdoor to directly instantiate the document last used when a Mac was last shut down. As iFamily has always opened the previous document for you on startup, this had resulted in two copies of the database being opened and led to a "Could not merge changes" error that many of you reported. A check has been placed which denies a second copy of a database to be opened, you may see it flash up on the screen briefly as the saved state also includes a screen state that appears before the doc has fully instantiated. This is safe.

Download Latest Release
- repaired an oversight from V2.9.1 to connect to the iFamilyForMac server rather than the iFamilyForLeoaprd server for the installer file. (You may have noticed that if you updated V2.9.1 through the menus it downloaded iFamilyForLeoaprdV2.9.3.dmg, this was simply a renamed iFamilyForMac package).

Please note that this is a minor supplementary
version for more widespread changes
in V2.9.2 whose change log can be found here:-
