Having downloaded my original gedcom file from Genes Reunited I now wish to upload an amended copy of the ged file ( *****.family tree.GED) to Genes Reunited but find I cannot due to an " upload error" . I wondered if anyone has had the same problem. I have tried many times to upload it but with the same result. I have contacted Genes Reunited and awaiting a reply. Here's hoping ....

Are you using Safari? If so try uploading using Firefox instead.

Genes Reunited and Safari don't seem to like each other :(

I had similar problems using Safari, but using Firefox everything went fine.

Since Apple has released its latest version of Safari (yesterday), I've noticed a few sites do not recognize its User Agent and refuse to allow entry to the site. You can change the User Agent in Safari if you activate the Developer option. When I used the User Agent for Safari 2.04, the site that had refused to allow me to enter did so without hesitation. Some sites are slower than others to respond to changes.
