Hi there

I can't find where under Preferences or otherwise to get back to automatic family name appearing when entering children, etc. It was there previously with iFamily for Leopard, can't find under iFam for MAC. I get the second christian name capitalised so know that's switched on. I'm sure there is a setting that I just can't find

You may well have got the solution by now. But if not:
Click on a person then go to their Family screen. There is a tick box on the bottom of the screen named
"Auto append family name"

Hadn't received a solution but now I have, many thanks!! I can't think why something so simple wasn't visible or apparent as it does sit in a very visible spot ... and/or why it had changed somewhere along the way. However, think I was just looking through menus and didn't look at the whole screen. Do appreciate this, think I had done searches for 'add name at data entry' and various others but nothing appeared. Not to worry, problem solved.
