Hi

I have just upgraded to the above operating system on my Mac and discover that iFamily will no longer open.

Is there a fix? And if so when will it be available?

At present all my data is in iFamily and I can't access it, which is making life difficult.

If you go to the Members area there is a post with v2.9.4 which will run under macOS Sierra with an issue or two.

There is also info in that post on how to get around the duplicate file error on startup.

Meanwhile Warwick is working on a new release which should be available soon.

I recently upgraded to Sierra and had trouble getting iFamily to open with my data. Finally figured that out but today the whole iFamily program refuses to open. It gives a message of "quit unexpectedly" but it is not opening at all. I can open it on my husband's computer but not on mine. Any thoughts on a fix. Thanks.

Same issue here -- the app just quits immediately. Any more news on the update?

Version 2.9.4 is still the latest version and works reasonably with macOS Sierra.

Not perfect but it runs and is pretty useable.

The Members forum has a thread on that version and details some of the issue.

Warwick is working on a release but it is taking a while.
