Great, my dev machine is a 2010 Mac mini and just bit the dust apparently... Time to upgrade I guess.

iMac Pro (2017)
Mac Pro (Late 2013, plus mid 2010 and mid 2012 models with recommended Metal-capable GPU)

It's never pretty at first when I do this macOS upgrade.
  • The menu bar in the middle is missing. It is actually there but invisible, (same colour as background?).
  • The light mode is mostly ok, just a few
  • The default colour scheme on the dark mode is horrid for visibility, (white text on grey!).
  • Some text box are missing their edging
I've got two options to resolve most of it, enforce light mode in the app at all time, or rework the interface elements to have settings in both modes. (Hopefully doesn't involve settings on many scores of panels.).

Hi Warwick,

At least it is running under Mojave.

How does it look if you select the Classic set of colours rather than the default?

My preference would be to have settings for both modes but if that is too complex to complete quickly I would rather have the other issues reworked as previously planned and have light mode forced initially (fixed properly later).

Nigel

What is the latest on a version to support Mojave? I have an early 2015 MacBook, but iFamily will not install.
Are there instructions? A new version?
Thanks

Hi,

See postings under the Members Forum about the Mojave version.

Warwick is working on an update and had hoped to release it on the 2nd November which has now passed.

No further info available as to a new release date but you are not alone in needing it.

It is likely to be a paid update.

Regards,

Nigel

Hi there

have just installed Mojavi and the update from iFamily. The report function is all greyed out - is that just part of the upgrade tweak?

many thanks!

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I haven't seen a problem with the Reports option being greyed out - it is all fine for me.

Only see grey menu options if there is no open database.

Can you put up some more info on the versions you are using?

Regards,

Nigel
