How are people using the Notes and Comments fields? Are some things better suited for one or the other, or is it really just up to me how I use the fields?
Thanks!

Notes or Comments?
Notes are for information that you are happy for others to read. Notes get exported to a Gedcom file and can be read by other genealogy applications.
Comments are usually for information that is " work in progress" or you are unsure about. Although Comments do get exported to a Gedcom file, most other genealogy apps ignore Comments.
You can also use the menu option People - Todo List to store more info for each person.
And what do those Chinese characters mean?
Keith

The Chinese characters I am using for my picture, [ch23478][ch35676], mean " family history" or " family record" . I chose that as my picture in honor of my wife's Chinese ancestry.
The Chinese characters in " personal text" below the picture, [ch25105][ch24859], simply mean " I love" as in " I love iFamilyforTiger!"
