Greetings from a new user

Post by Bogbunny » Tue Oct 27, 2009 8:03 am

Hi Everyone,

I&#39ve recently become a user of iFamily after trialling many other genealogy programs for Mac. I liked the useability and price :)

I must admit I was concerned about future support following the sad loss of Keith but have taken the risk and look forward to the iPhone version which wil make trips to the archive centres easier.

I&#39m researching the Batrick family, primarily from the UK side although I know there is also a large contingent in Australia which has descended from a common ancestor in London.

Regards

Hello Bogbunny and welcome to the forum. I had the same reservations about iFamily but realise that Warwick has a day job - unlike the greatly missed Keith who devoted so much of his time on here - so we just get on with the genealogy knowing that this mature piece of software can handle 99% of our needs.
I have an ipod too and hope there will be an app in the pipeline.
