Alternate dates

In several cases I have "alternate" (i.e., more than one) birth, marriage, death date for some people. I want to show both in the database until one is confirmed. Is there any way I can show both, with one as "Preferred"? Right now, if I want to add another birth date in Events, it tells me one is already there.

Hi,

The way I would do this is to put your &#39best guess&#39 in the normal date field and use the Comment field for the extra information.

You can then run a report on which people have entries in the comment field to help with progressing the &#39uncertainties&#39.
