I have acquired a booklet from a fellow gene-tracking cousin, who has (his own?) standard of encoding events, and I'm wondering if some of them are made up, or are indeed standards?
In other words, besides " b." for " birth" and " d." for " death" and " m." for " marriage" ... are there others?
For example:
i. for interment (burial)
f. founding or charter member of church or organization
*. military service
e. for education
o. for occupation
Are these actual codes?
Thanks.
