Sending ifamily information to a PC

Sending ifamily information to a PC
Although I have burnt my information on to a CD, it cannot be read by a PC. How do I make this possible - I have Snow Leopard now but my initial ifamily data was recorded on the OS Tiger - would that affect anything. Hope you can help. Many thanks
