Changing Fonts in Notes and Report

Post by BillW » Mon Nov 01, 2010 3:53 pm

I have tried to change the font from Helvetica to Times New Roman in Notes without success. I can change during one work session, but the changes are not saved: when I reopen the file, everything is in Helvetica again.

Is there a way to change the font and have the change saved?

Hi Bill,

I do not believe iFamily saves the font info as that would require all installations to have the same font set (well the ones you have selected) making it a Word processor rather than a text handler.

Possible to do, but I guess Keith&#39s KISS principle applied.

Your Subject line also included reports.

I generate mine in TextEdit (in Rich Text Mode) and you can make changes to the fonts there and save the file. This should keep the changes - I do not believe you can change the default fonts it uses when creating the initial document.

Hope that helps.

Nigel

Thanks, Nigel. It&#39s odd that Keith allowed changing fonts in the cards in the main pane but not anywhere else. I successfully changed them from the default (Helvetica?) to Times New Roman a long time ago. I prefer a serif font for most text because the serifs make reading easier. Maybe in a future update or upgrade this will be possible.

Bill
