Place names format to work with Google Maps

I post this question with some trepidation. I know I should be able to figure it out on my own.

All of my place names are in Denmark. I have started entering data into iFamily. Before I get too far with entry of place names I would like to understand what is needed for Google map interaction. (probably a very elementary question...)

Do I for each place name entered go to Google maps to interact and pinpoint location?
Or do I upon entry of data make certain of certain format and after that it works by itself?

Issue right now quite muddy in my mind.

Hi Kirsten,

If you have a look in the section of the forum about Google Maps you should find the info you need.

Have a look at :

and see if it has what you need.
