Hi,
How do I create and attach in an email an ancestor by generation report only on my mother's side?
I am trying to send these reports to relatives so that they can fill in the dates, events & venues etc. and send the info back to me by email.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Allan,
If you select your Mother on the main diagram and then from the Menu bar Reports..Ancestors you will have the option to generate a report of the ancestors of just your mother.
You can control the level of detail in the report but the following is a fairly full extract. I have only included the section for the Root person (of that view) but you can control how many generations are included in the report.
You can create the report in a number of formats (text file, CSV for excel or Numbers) Word etc and then save that into the iFamily folder to attache to an e-mail.
