You can add a Source Reference (Citation) to a Person or an Event.

Person -> Source Reference -> Source
Event -> Source Reference -> Source

also
Person -> Event

therefore iFamily can interrogate and display (in the Sources pane)
Person -> Source References -> Sources
Person -> Events -> Source References -> Sources

The Active Source

If you have an Source chosen to be the Active Source then you can Right Click on any Person or any Event and add a reference to the Active Source.

When you have an Active Source iFamily will automatically prompt you for a Reference to that Source every time you add a new Person or a new Event.
