Hi LynMcD,

Which version of iFamily are you running?

The latest is 2.753 and is working fine on my MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion.

Did you use the menu option to move the iFamily data file from the root user folder to your Documents one?

I have just moved mine and do not have the problem even using the entry that had pointed to the old location.

If you did move it, did you do so manually? That might cause a problem as iFamilyforLeopard would expect the files to be in the old location.

Good luck,

Nigel

I am using 2.753.
I don't understand "root folder." My files had been on a desktop folder to make it easier to copy everything as a backup.
But I moved the data file into the documents folder using the Move option, muddled around with other files without knowing what I was doing, and ended up in about the same shape.
“Open recent" still lists nothing, but I'll learn to live without it.
Thanks.
