By the latest do you mean v2.13.0?
Also which macOS are you using?
This will help Warwick identify the problem

Hi,
Just tested removing picture with v2.13.1 and it worked OK
However, when I tried to crop an image so that the full image was shown in the picture pane it crashed.
Crash report sent to Warwick with details of what caused it so I hope a fix will be easy but it may not be until the next main release so beware of cropping pictures.

I think this may be related to the Family Pane issue. Both are trying to remove tracking rectangles before they re set. (ie, where the mouse hot spots need to be, be it for buttons or picture cropping.). Hopefully testing confirms.
