Crash during "Save and close" in "Add a source reference to"

Hello,

I am running v 2.14.0 (2922e78) on Sonoma 14.5 on an Apple M2 Max MacBook Pro.

Whenever I try to add a source to an existing event, when I click "Save and close" in the "Add a source reference to ..." dialogue box, iFamily quits. It does so fairly gracefully with a Mac window offering me to report the error and to Reopen. When re-opening, the latest change saves but the Active Source is no longer active. It's manageable but adds a minute or so on to my process each time I add a source.

I had not used iFamily for a while before I upgraded to Sonoma and am not sure whether I used this functionality on the previous operating system.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and is any fix planned?

Hi

This is a known issue with 14.3 as covered in the thread under members section.

Warwick is working on it and I hope a new update will be released real soon now.

Although it crashes the main items of info are actually saved. I have found that the Cause info is not saved.

Now that the public beta of Sequoia is out it should be noted that iFamily will not launch. Warwick hope to have another release for that in August

I just had the same issue after clicking "Close & Save" in the dialog box that appears when trying to change an Event type (after clicking the up arrow in one of the rows of the table in the Events tab. I will add a comment on the 14.3 known issues thread in the Members section.

Did you get a response/solution. My program crashes every time I try to perform any operation. Sonoma 14.6.1

I have just bought a new Mac running Sequoia. I cannot run iFamily. Can Warwick provide a date for upgrade?

Version 2.15.0 is now available and works on Sequoia.

I recommend immediate upgrade.
