iFamily will not open on the new OS X operating system Mavericks.
Is anybody else having this problem, if so, will there be an update to correct this?

Congrats on the best genealogy software.

An update link is available over in the members fora for anyone who has upgraded their OSX before their iFamily:

http://ifamilyforleopard.com/forums/vie ... php?t=1054 (requires login)

Thanks for the compliment, we are glad to be a good part of the Mac genealogy scene :)

I too updated to Maverick without considering the consequences. Panic nearly set in but I followed your link and downloaded the patch - and everything was right again.

Many thanks for having it all sorted so promptly. A great program which I enjoy using. It has, though, prompted me to do the recommended back up of GEDCOM files onto my spare hard disc as a precaution.
