Two people with the same name

How do I enter two people the same name? I tried adding a '2' but then I have someone with a last name of 2. My particular case is a grandfather and grandson with the same first, middle and last name.

iFamily will not mind if the have the same exact name, they will be assigned a different ID number to differentiate the two in the database.

Use the AKA field, (Also Known As), if one has a alias or nickname in common use. This won't turn up in the index, but when you look at the personal sheet you can spot it. I am hoping they are not twins as this add to the problem of telling them apart with an identical birthdate, (who would do that?), but even then the database should not have problems.
