I plan to upgrade OSX to El Capitan 10.11 (from Mavericks 10.9)
I am currently using iFamily version 2.891
I know that I change to El Capitan I will also have to upgrade iFamily.
Not sure how to do this. 3 questions:
1) Will I need to upgrade step by step, one version at a time in order of release date until I get to 2.93?
(I.e. 2.892, 2.90, 2.895, 2.91, 2.92, 2.93)
2) Regardless of whether the process be one step or several, how do I accomplish an upgrade?
(Since I haven’t done any since 2014 I don’t recall the process.)
3) Would it work (with my current Mavericks OSX) if I upgraded iFamily to 2.93 in advance of the planned OSX upgrade to El Capital? - Or must the two be simultaneous (so to speak)?

Re: Upgrade questions
Hi Kirsten
The latest build is 2.9.6 which works with High Sierra, Sierra and (I believe) El Capitan.
You do not need to go through each release. Just download 2.9.6 from the Members area of this forum and run the installer.
Any reason for not upgrading to High Sierra?
Regards
Nigel

Re: Upgrade questions
Hi Nigel,
Appreciate your reply!
You are not the only one to encourage me to take that step - so I am starting to lean in that direction.
There are a couple of issues with it (unrelated to iFamily).
I am learning about them and hope to resolve so I can take that giant leap!
Thanks for your good help!

Re: Upgrade questions
Just a quick post to report that after all my fretting and planning I have successfully upgraded to High Sierra with iFamily to match and all working well.
Thanks, Nigel!
