Changing Relationships

To see or change the relationship between two people - left click on a person in the diagram, then hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse pointer to another person and release it. You may also add relationships to the focal person by right clicking on the focal person and then selecting an option from the pop-up menu.

I can't seem to make it work. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Roy Murphy

I do not know what the problem is. No-one else has reported a problem with click and drag.

The alternative is to left click on the small button at the mid-point of the parent-child relationship line.

I think I see the problem, Keith.

What you have written is for a direct relationship - ie, between parent & child. And it works. It could also be read 'to see the relationship between child and great-grand parent' (if they are on the same context diagram). Then it does not work.

Roy, is that what you were trying to do?
