Firstly I am using a Mac running Leopard and do not have a right clickable mouse. I have received a database from a distant relative that has many of the same names that are in my database but also more data on one line of my family. I am trying to merge these two databases into one file. When I " right click" or control-click in Mac I do not get an option to " copy" in the pop-up menu so how do I go about linking these databases? The option to " copy" in the File menu is also not available. :-/
I would also note that if I click the link in the pop-up menu to " merge selected person from another data base" the resultant screen finds the other open database but does not find any names which could be selected for merging.
Any assistance would e appreciated.

For your mouse please read Right Click Does Not Work

For instructions on merging please read How do I merge data from one database into another

Does that work for you - if not then let me know
