Hi Keith, In the case of individuals who have more than one spouse, I have entered their names in the order in which they married them but each time the order comes out reversed. On a diagram it will list wife 1 as 2 and vice versa and wife 1's children will be listed last. how can I change the order?

Thanks Melissa

How do I change the order of spouses

The order that spouses are displayed is determined as follows:

If there is a marriage date then that date is used to sort the spouses.

If a marriage date is missing then iFamily uses the birth date of the first natural child of the union.

If all else fails then you need to enter an approximate year for the marriage such as " about 1925" . You can also prefix the date with abt, c, circa, bef, before, aft or after.

In V2.343 - when no marriage dates are available or they cannot be approximated by using children's birth dates, then spouses will be sorted in the chronological order in which the spousal relationships were created by the user.
