In the Ancestors/Descendants diagrams you can Right Click on anyone and Contract their Ancestors (or Descendants.

In a Gedcom export you can omit people who are living.

In many reports you can omit birth dates of " living people"

Is there something special about the person you want to hide? Is he/she a criminal or other persona non grata? I am not of course implying that you would be related to a criminal, but I am, and I am proud of it - although my grandma always said that she " knew nothing" about that side of the family tree.

Thank you. Let's just say that there are some individuals whose birth parents are not who they think they are and/or do not know that they are adopted. It is not not my desire to inadvertently inform them. Until living individuals die or are made aware of the truth by an appropriate party, I would like to present the world as they believe it is.
