With over 12,000 people in my database, I find that 10% are not connected to me (yet).
The Dynasties Report identifies and groups these, which is great.
I can review each group and research/edit the data.
I can export GEDCOM files and create new separate databases.

But can I (easily) delete a whole Dynasty from my main database?

Hi

This item is on the ToDo list, at the moment you must export the main dynasty to a gedcom file and then reimport the Gedcom file.

Select as a FocalPerson someone you want to keep and Gedcom export FocalPerson + All related people. Then re-import that Gedcom file into a new database. All of which is mildly painful but it is very safe and it works.
