The difference between Notes and Comments

If you are having difficulty using iFamily for Leopard.
eg: "How do I change someone's sex after they are married?

You can use Notes and Comments however you like. For instance, if you are uncertain of the quality of the data you could enter the information in the Comments field. When you are happy with the quality of the data then you can cut and paste it into the Notes field.

The Comments field is also a good place to enter " todo" notes.

In general the Comments information will not be read by other genealogy programs when they load a Gedcom file.
