Adding second wife

Post by alid62 » Sat Oct 25, 2008 9:23 pm

Hi Yvonne,

There's (at least?) two ways to add a second spouse.

1. In the context diagram make sure you have the ghost outlines option on (toggles on and off in preferences) click in it and add the new spouse. When you hit return you get to add the rest of the details.

2. In the family pane make your great grandfather the focal person. Immediately to the right of his first wife's name is a 'plus' sign. Click that and it opens up a pane to add the second wife.

Hope that helps.

Alison

Ihad managed to enter something before your reply but it did not look right.
I will have another try later.
I am also new to an Imac and what I think is the enter or return key just deleted it

all good fun but I do love the mac
