I often work with others on researching the same family. Any suggestions for keeping files in sync? I would like to follow additions/changes. Is there a way that one party can add new data in another colour that can subsequently turned back to the original colour?

Ideas for Syncing files
Hi Clive,
You could add a note into the Comments field that this information has been added/ changed on a certain date by user xxx.
You can then find those entries with a 'People ... Comments... ' menu selection setting the option to Comments not null.
Not the easiest of ways and it does assume you are using the same database and iFamily - but I sort of assumed that from your question.
There is also some possibility of the last updated field but I am not too sure of the current position on this - I think Warwick was working on it - and this could include an option to highlight in a new colour any entires after a selectable date (new feature suggestion?).
Hope it helps,
Nigel
