Connecting Families

My mothers brother married my fathers sister. I can&#39t seem to get the Uncle and Aunt linked properly to their respective family trees. While the Uncle links in both directions the Aunt only connects back but not to her descendants. Any suggestions to correct this problem?

Providing that you&#39ve got dates of birth for Uncle & Aunt there should be no problem - right click on the brother&#39s wife and select add parents - Connect the father first then when you&#39ve got him connected make him the focal person and manually connect children to the wife - you may end up with a duplicate of the original person but you just delete the "spare" after you&#39ve again manually transferred any data from the spare

Does that make sense - if not come back to me and I&#39ll try and be a bit more explicit
