If you are having difficulty using iFamily for Leopard.

Is it possible to completely delete a tree that has got messed up so that it no longer appears in the list of trees? It keeps telling me that it can&#39t delete the focal person or the last person.

Hi Clare,

If you mean to get rid of the whole tree and start again, the answer is Yes.

In Finder, go to your home folder and in the iFamilyData folder there will be a file ending in .FtkSql The first part of that file name will be the one you used for your family tree.

Just delete that file (move to Trash) and that is job done.

Regards,

Nigel

Thank you, that worked easily.
Now if only the names don&#39t get messed up this time when I try to import again. I want to see if it will come out right, rather than going back and correcting all the errors..
