hide lower pane on screen?

Hi there,
Im a newbie and would like to hide the lower pane (with all the details). How do I do this?

Hi Jill,

I do not believe there is a way to hide it completely.

You can drag the dividing bar down to make the lower pane as small as it goes but it is limited so that it cannot be lost/hidden completely.

I guess Keith never saw a reason to hide it completely.

Is there something special you are trying to do as it may be that another screen could meet your needs better?
