Example of double relationship:
Bill Jensen is married to Jeannette Lopez
Karen Jensen is married to Klaus Lopez.
Bill and Karen are brother and sister; so are Jeanette and Klaus.
Clear to me that Bill and Klaus are brothers-in law two ways:
1) Klaus is Bill's sister's husband
2) Klaus is Bill's wife's brother.
When using relationship calculator, with Bill as focal person and asking how is Klaus related to him, I only get one way shown:
1) Klaus is Bill's sister's husband (which is true)
2) I would have liked to have seen this second relationship as well: Klaus being Bill's wife's brother.
If I disconnect Bill from both of his parents, I get answer number 2.
I conclude that the relationship calculator is happy if it finds one thread of relationship to deliver and that it chooses the blood-closest one.
Correct conclusion? - Or is there something else I should know?
