Adding Parents' Names and Birth Information; tutorials

This is a dumb question: how do I add parents' names, birthdates and birthplaces to a sibling-in-law?

I haven't been able to find a way to do it or how to do it.

This is a double post and I apologize for that but I thought that I may have posted it on the wrong forum initially.

Also, I would appreciate link(s) to tutorials and help on how to sync iFamily on my MBPro to my desktop iMac without losing information on my MBPro but updating information on my desktop iMac.
