Thanks much for adding this feature. Just by itself it is useful to learn where various places are located. However, there are many other tasks that may be relevant for genealogy.

One direction to consider is to have an option that would show a map with all the events places for a single person (or family) marked color-coded by the type of event.

Another option is to to pick a location and a radius (in miles or km) and then display all events places within the circle and color code these by people (or families) involved.

I am sure that there are many other reasonable choices but Keith needs to know what will provide the most value for his efforts. What do others think?

Hi Al

One way to plot all events at one place is to create your own special map within Google Maps and then drop markers on it.

To learn how to create your own Google Map I suggest that you:
  • Start iFamily for Tiger
  • Press the Events Tab
  • Press the Map button
  • In Google Maps press the Help button and then
  • Take the Google Maps Tour and then click on Create a Map
