Can styled text be implemented, primarily in the source and note fields? Not sure if this has come up before. Did a search but did not see any previous posts.

The good news is that the iFamily database was originally designed to handle it all as " Rich Text" rather than " Plain Text" .

The bad news is that it all has to be converted to " Plain Text" when exporting to a Gedcom File because that is all the Gedcom 5.5 Standard allows. It is easy enough to write it as " Plain Text" to a Gedcom file but ...

Which answers your question of " can it be implemented?" but does not answer the question " when will it be implemented? for which I do not have an answer.

GEDCOM raises it's ugly head again. Well, that explains it. Hope the GEDCOM specification can be brought into the current century sometime soon.
