Task list

I am overwhelmed by tasks and data related to genealogy and my memory is bad. It would be very useful to have a TODO or task list that specified:
1. what the task is
2. who is responsible for completing it
3. due date
4. any documents relevant to the task
5. any ancestors relevant to the task
6. notes on what should be done
7. a list of other tasks this task blocks
8. a list of tasks this task depends on
9. tasks status (i.e., in progress, competed, not started)
And of course a way to search tasks on the various attributes and view dependencies and set alarms.

Task list

I think that what you are asking for is a full blown task manager - maybe there is a suitable application that you can use in conjunction with iFamilyForTiger. If you find something that you like then let me know and maybe I can develop a suitable interface from/to iFamily.

Hi,

OmniFocus from The Omni Group may be something suitable.

It can be set up to be available with a hot key to allow tasks to be entered as they crop up.

It is available as a demo from www.omnigroup.com and is described as a Personal Task Manager.
